MARYAN MEHLHORN – Swimwear Brand of the Year 2011
On the occasion of the first UK Lingerie Awards on September 7th, 2011 in London’s Mayfair district, the German swimwear brand MARYAN MEHLHORN has been awarded “Swimwear Brand of the Year” by the business magazine Lingerie Insight.
Around 250 guests attended the exciting award ceremony in the course of a glamorous gala dinner at the event location One Mayfair, hosted by TV presenter Millie Clode and Lingerie Insight editor Kat Slowe.
“We are very delighted to have received this award for MARYAN MEHLHORN. This is not only a distinction for the brand, but for all our employees, who get involved every day anew to contribute to the collection’s success. Moreover, we are proud to have set ourselves apart from well-known and strong competitors in the jury’s assessment”, announced Maryan Mehlhorn, designer and executive director of the Maryan Beachwear Group.
Members of the jury were: June Kenton, Owner, Rigby & Peller; Kelly Isaac, Founder, Lingerie Collective; Sharon Webb, Head of lingerie buying and design, Debenhams; Nichole de Carle, Designer and Owner of Nichole de Carle; Claire Franks, Founder, Intimate Apparel Consultancy; Gillian Proctor, Course Leader, De Montfort University; and Kat Slowe, editor of Lingerie Insight.
